In this ongoing personal series, Wouter Biesemans explores the tension between light, movement, and identity. Set against stark white backdrops, each athlete is frozen mid-motion — their shadow cast sharply, almost like a second self. Inspired by studio minimalism and the graphic language of sport, the images strip everything down to form, energy, and contrast. Shot with intention. Built on rhythm.
